November 19 21 To Cartagena Spending our last night with day poolside and dinner at the Santa Marta resort we set out for Cartagena Monday morning after a quick beach stroll in the sun The 4 hour drive via Baranquilla goes by quickly and we are delivered to our seaside hotel with infinity pool views We enjoy a night out at Alquimico for drinks and Alma for dinner in the old city two places I highly recommend Tuesday morning we are up and out early for our 5 island boat cruise to Boca Chica and the historic fort snorkeling along the reefs and 3 beach parties Kayak salesmen come out of every corner as we avoid buying the coco locos and not so fresh looking oysters The wading shore party vibes and VIP lunch service were amazing and we are already thinking of coming back After a long day in the sun we are ready to relax and call it an early night back at the Estelar Hotel
